For where two or three are gathered in my name,
there am I among them.
The Upper Room is part of the Korean Central Presbyterian Church (KCPC). KCPC started in 1987 as a few followers of Christ meeting in a park in Cartersville, GA. Over the past three decades, KCPC has grown to be a loving community, providing a safe space to explore our faith and walk with God.
Our Mission & Vision
To create a community where we help each other to live out our calling: to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with our God.
To cultivate a community that remembers God’s ways and hopes in God’s promises.
To build and cultivate a community that welcomes all to Christ's table, knowing we are all made in the image of God.
To serve as a radically inclusive community, pursuing God’s invitation to fight for justice, embrace compassion, and humbly explore our faith as we follow the Way of Jesus.
To build a community of diverse believers devoted to the Word, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer.
To provide a spiritual home where all who enter are welcomed with God’s radical and transformative hospitality.
KCPC’s Upper Room is an obedient community - we have the strength to stand on the promises of God and the willingness to leap into God’s future, and the wisdom to know when to do which.
We are a progressive and inclusive community of believers, committed to sound Biblical teaching, genuine personal transformation, and to sweeping social justice.
We are an open-minded and inclusive community of faith, engaging in meaningful worship, growing together in fellowship, and dedicated to social justice and personal spiritual growth.
Knowing we are all flawed, we fully embrace God’s grace and in turn, extend God’s love to our local community and beyond.
The Upper Room of Korean Central Presbyterian Church is an authentic community whose doors are always open to welcome those who seek to grow and renew their relationship with God through empowering worship, challenging preaching, meaningful prayer, and hands-on service.
To actively engage English-speaking disciples into fulfilling the Great Commission by creating a home-church for all followers, as well as by reaching out to all nations with the love of God.
